Unemployed Does Not Mean Unqualified

"Welcome to the Team" Takes More Than Mass Applications

If you’re unemployed right now, first let me say, I get it. It can feel counterintuitive — even irresponsible — to invest in coaching or interview preparation.

But . . . I’m gonna say the quiet part out loud:

Clarity creates visibility — and visibility beats volume.

Confidence beats credentials.

Preparation beats panic.

I see highly capable leaders losing momentum not because they lack experience — but because they’re struggling to clearly articulate their value in a crowded, noisy market.

Leadership coaching and interview preparation aren’t about rehearsing and memorizing answers.

They’re about elevating your leadership impact and translating your experience into a compelling leadership narrative. It’s about walking into conversations and your next level prepared — not hoping someone “sees your potential.”

Waiting until you’re re-employed to invest in yourself often means carrying the same uncertainty, hesitation, and reactive patterns into the next role.

The leaders who move forward fastest in uncertain markets aren’t the ones applying everywhere. They’re the ones who slow down, sharpen skills, clarify their message, and show up ready.

If you’re in a “so now what?” season, this is not the time to disappear.

It’s the time to prepare.

I’ll share how SHERPA coaching and my Interview Readiness Accelerator support leaders navigating career transitions with clarity and confidence.

Your next role isn’t about luck.

It’s about readiness.
